We know some, those local fanciers which race phenomenal but don’t get the attention they deserve. This time I would like to introduce Combination Duijvestijn – Piepke from Den Haag. This tandem is formed by ex cucumber grower Nico Duijvestijn and government worker Mirek Piepke. They build their strain with the very best of Jan de Raaf and a few pigeons from Henk Scholtes and Peet Kester. The formed a strain with an own identity and able to win races under all circumstances in races from 100 to 700 kilometer. At this monent the are competing for the old birds championship in districk 12 “De Kuststrook” against top lofts like: Comb. Van Rijn – Meeder, Schipluiden, Ad de Maa, Den Hoorn, Gebr.vd Berg, Leidschendam and more...
