Team Eijerkamp, once again unstoppable in 2009

The first prominent titles 2009 are just rolling from the press and once again we discover the name Eijerkamp at 'Nr 1' as brand new General Champion at the 'Noordelijke-Unie' and who knows what else will follow? Because let one thing be clear, the Eijerkamp pigeons raced hard again in 2009, battering to their heart's desire, once again sowing 'destruction' in the pigeon platoon

Top season at the one-day distance 2009

Each fancier want to achieve a certain goal with his birds at the beginning of each season. When it is not possible to win a first national, so than all fanciers aiming for a Top 10 National result. In the Netherlands called a Videotext position as direct after each race the Top 10 National will presented in this media attribute.

With Team Eijerkamp it is just the same, as in the beginning of this season two goals were aimed for; Lotte Eijerkamp would specialize herself in only racing 70 widowhood hens for the One-day distance race to aim for a National victory or a National Top 10 position. With Hans Eijerkamp and Sons the goal was set for the National championship or the Interprovincial championship in the Noordelijke-Unie, a new covering championship for over 10,000 fanciers from the Amalgamations 7-8-9-10-11 at the One-Day distance races from Chateaudun, Blois and Chateauroux. With competitors as Nico-Jan Koenders, Pieter Veenstra, Sangers-Ung, Doornebal-Peters, Gebr. Limburg, Comb. Verbee, G. and C. Koopman, F. Ebben a magnificent challenge to concur this competion in the most honest competition in the pigeon sport. Hans Eijerkamp and Sons had split up the team in order to have 30 birds, 27 cocks and 3 hens, for the One-Day distance while the other team of 53 birds would deal on the short- and middle distance races. Next to this also a team would be entered in the overnight – two day races.
