- 29-31st of January the 3rd International Fair of Racing Pigeons EXPOGołębie is held. It is an annual event, in the tradition of the largest fairs of racing pigeons in Poland. The fair will be held simultaneously with the European Exhibition of Racing Pigeons organized by the Polish Pigeon Breeders Association
EXPOGołębie 2009: nearly 21,000 satisfied visitors, over 3,500 most beautiful pigeons, over 150 exhibitors from Poland, the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Czech Republic, Norway and Ukraine, the only major exhibition of this kind in Poland and the fastest growing event on an international arena, the biggest event for the admirers and breeders of these beautiful birds
The Expo Silesia Exhibition Centre is located nearby two airports: Katowice-Pyrzowice (20 minutes' drive) and Kraków-Balice (40 minutes' drive). Expo Silesia – 13,5 thousand square metres of exhibition area in an air-conditioned pavilion, over 20 thousand square metres of outside exhibition area and a parking area for 1,000 cars.
